Hockey Training

First and foremost, Revolution Athletics is a company that specializes in the training of hockey players.  In fact, we are the first and only company in southern California to focus on the training of hockey players!  Company president and training director David Pollitt is widely considered a leading expert in the off-ice training of hockey players.  His list of midget, junior, college and professional hockey players that seek his guidance is considerable.

Summer Training Programs
Starting at the beginning of  the 2008 off-season (end of April), Revolution Athletics.  The focus will be to prepare players to play at their best at the start of the hockey season.  Sessions will include sprinting, sled dragging/pushing, weight training, conditioning drills, flexibility work, and hockey specific exercises that guarantee your best ever performance on the ice in 2008!

Cost & Schedule To Be Determined.

Pro Training Camp (June 15th - 21st)
This is the first of it's kind program in southern California!  Only 8 Players will get the chance to workout and learn the techniques to play professional hockey along side of 4 active professional hockey players.  This will be a training camp for these pros, and players who attend will get the chance to do every drill, learn all the skills and go through the same drills on the ice as these pros.  Such a hockey camp has NEVER been held in California!!!

This camp will focus on preparing players to move up the next level and will require that you come to camp willing to work hard.  Participants will be sent a pre-camp training program, and materials to prepare for the camp.  All athletes will work together so this will be a good opportunity to train with players above your level and see what's it's like to work hard as an elite player.

The 2008 Training Camp will be 7 days long and will be a very challenging camp to finish the off-season training strongly for training camps.  Athletes who sign up for this should be prepared to work...and work hard!

Program Highlights:

  • Pre-camp training program.

  • 2 - 1.5 hour dryland training sessions per day.

  • 4 hours of on-ice training during the week.

  • Daily Lectures on various aspects of hockey training and skill development.

“I worked with Dave for three years and learned a great deal about weight training and specifically training for hockey.  He took my hockey abilities to another level and taught me a lot both in the weight room and out of it.  I can’t thank you enough for all you’ve done for me.  It made the transition to college hockey a lot easier, and I still use his programs now that I'm at the college level.”
