“I have been training with Dave for more than 2 years and at 55 years old, I am stronger and in better shape than I was at 35.  I don’t feel this would have happened with a regular “trainer”.  Dave is not “regular” in any way because he gets results.”

“We are effectively using David’s training programs with our program as a handout to our protected list players as well as our returning veterans with great success.”

David taught me how to eat and how to weight train.  He taught me why this was important to gaining weight and increasing muscle mass while he instructed me on the correct lifting techniques so I would not hurt myself.

I am excited about 2008 and look forward to continued progress.  I highly recommend David to anyone trying to improve their physical fitness!

About Us

Started in Calgary, Alberta, Canada in 1991 as Optimal Performance Fitness Coaching our company has evolved into from an endurance athlete based company into an industry leading sports performance training company.

Our clients include regular hard working men and women, corporate professionals, as well as amateur and professional athletes who know the difference between an entry level trainer at a large gym and a performance coach from our facility.

We keep our facility small to enhance the personal service and commitment to our clients.  All of our staff are recruited and then rigorously trained in house so that we can offer the highest level of professionalism and results in the sport training and fitness business.

We offer a wide range of services from regular training sessions at our facility to in-home training or corporate training at your business.  Our goal has always been to provide 100% satisfaction or your money back!

“I was lucky enough to have Dave as a Strength and Conditioning Coach while at the Banff Hockey Academy.  After the academy, Dave designed a 5 month summer program for me to help prepare for my upcoming NCAA hockey season.  All of the body weight gains were lean, and I improved in cardio and anaerobic performance as well.  Most importantly, my on ice improvements were phenomenal thanks to Dave.  I was named All-Conference Goalie of the Year my first two seasons in college.  I have continued using Dave’s programs since he joined the Duquesne University Coaching Staff, and now I am preparing for pro tryouts this summer.  He was so inspirational, in fact, that I am now pursuing a career in Sports Science and following in his footsteps.

"Dave took the time to really explain what I needed to do to get into shape and worked hard to make sure I followed through.  I have been to other trainers before but have not had the results like what I had with him.  I really trust his guidance and enjoy what it's doing for me."

Dave's techniques have allowed me to integrate a variety of weight training methods into my workout routine while also keeping an appropriate amount of cardio.  He has taught me a menu of exercise routines that I can customize to keep every workout experience fresh and challenging, particularly when I am traveling.
